Hotel and Travel Information

The 2021 ACOS Annual Clinical Assembly was to be held at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida. After careful consideration of the health and safety conditions for holding a large-scale event in Orlando, Florida, the ACOS Board of Governors made the difficult, but responsible, decision to cancel the in-person 2021 Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACA) and convert it to a virtual format, to be launched in early November.

At ACOS, we were very excited about the conference and are disappointed that we had to make this decision. We know how much, you, our members, were looking forward to being together too. However, the health and well-being of all attendees, faculty, vendors, and our staff is our top priority. As I am sure you know. Due to the major surge of infections in the United States caused by the Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus, Florida has seen a major resurgence of coronavirus cases. This makes large gatherings such as the ACA conference unreasonably dangerous. As a result, for those who have already made reservations with our host hotel, will need to cancel. Registrants are responsible for cancelling all hotel reservations directly with the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes Hotel at (800) 433-5402 as well as, all other air and travel reservations. The ACOS will not cancel hotel reservations and does not reimburse members for lost hotel, travel, or other deposits under any circumstance.

Warning: The reservation methods listed on or communicated directly by the ACOS are the officially authorized methods of booking your room at the host hotel for the 2021 Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Surgeons. Please beware of fraudulent organizations offering rooms at a significant discount.  Attendees may be lured by highly attractive rates but could fall prey to imposters causing a loss of deposits, be charged hidden fees, or bait and switched to hotel rooms they never booked. Do not give them your credit card information. These companies are in no way affiliated with the Annual Clinical Assembly of Osteopathic Surgeons, the ACOS, the AOCPr or the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes.
