Disciplines Announce Candidates for Election

The nominating committees of the ACOS disciplines have announced nominees for discipline elections which will take place at the 2015 Annual Clinical Assembly (ACA) in Chicago.

Members nominated to serve as a Governor on the ACOS Board of Governors or as a discipline chair must be an ACOS Fellow (FACOS) and currently, or within the past three years, be in active surgical practice. Nominees for chair also must have served as a discipline continuing education program chair or co-chair.

General Surgery Discipline

The General Surgery Discipline will hold elections during its annual business meeting on Monday, October 5 at 7:00 a.m. For election:

Two Governors: Todd A. Nickloes, D.O., FACOS, FACS of Knoxville, Tennessee and Mandip S. Atwal, D.O., FACOS of Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery Discipline

The Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery Discipline will hold elections during its annual business meeting on Monday, October 5 at 7:00 a.m. For election:

Governor: Eugene W. Laveroni, Jr., D.O., FACOS of Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Discipline Chair: John W. Royalty, D.O., FACOS of Beverly Hills, Florida.
Secretary-Treasurer: J. Franklin Oaks, Jr., D.O., FACOS, MHA of Lima, Ohio.

Neurological Surgery Discipline

The Neurological Surgery Discipline will hold elections during its annual business meeting on Sunday, October 4 at 1:00 p.m. For election:

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Discipline

The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Discipline will hold elections during its annual business meeting on Monday, October 5 at 7:00 a.m. For election:

Urological Surgery Discipline
