Because of ACOS, I’ve made lifelong friends who I will soon share as colleagues. As Chair, I want to continue to advocate for the success of osteopathic medical students and hope to further opportunities for each of us to achieve both our personal and professional goals.

As Vice-Chair, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching environment within ACOS-MSS, and expanding the resources we have to help our members excel in their surgical aspirations.

ACOS-MSS has been an integral part of my medical education through its unparalleled opportunities for growth, collaboration, and learning alongside fellow future osteopathic surgeons. I am passionate about paying it forward and am excited to ensure osteopathic students continue to benefit from this organization. As Treasurer, it is my goal to improve conference accessibility through the allocation of funds to travel scholarships and assistance with chapter fundraising. I also hope to continue raising awareness of the financial hardships that often accompany medical education and to find additional ways to support osteopathic students pursuing surgical careers.

As the Communications Coordinator, I am dedicated to uniting aspiring osteopathic surgeons across all COMs through use of social media and virtual meetings. My aim is to empower students and create networking opportunities, making their goals of becoming osteopathic surgeons both accessible and achievable, reflecting the support I've received from this remarkable organization.

ACOS-MSS has made a huge impact on my medical school journey. I am excited to advocate for future osteopathic surgeons and expand the reach of this organization to include more students, residents, and physicians. As Conventions Chair, I am organizing conferences so that aspiring osteopathic surgeons will have more networking opportunities, gain clinical skills, and the opportunity to explore different surgical specialties.

Working with ACOS-MSS and my local chapter has been instrumental in my decision to pursue surgery, and has provided me with invaluable connections, lifelong friendships, and mentorship. I am dedicated to education and expanding opportunities for osteopathic students within the surgical field. In my position as the technology coordinator, I aspire to enhance the accessibility of resources offered by ACOS, ensuring that students have ample support and avenues for growth in their surgical pursuits. Finally, I am excited to work on the HPSP committee to bring similar opportunities to military students interested in surgery.

My clinical and research interests are broad, and I have published on topics including gastrointestinal malignancies, trauma and acute care, and patient safety in surgery. I also write a monthly column for the AOA's informal publication, "The DO," covering topics of interest to medical students. Outside of medicine and academics, I am an avid mountain biker and endurance sport enthusiast. I aim to mentor and provide the resources and platform for ACOS students to be successful at publishing research.
