College Service Awards
Established in 2018 by the ACOS Membership Committee, the College Service Awards honor members who demonstrate exceptional dedication to advancing the mission of ACOS. These awards recognize individuals for distinguished contributions through committee service, lecturing, mentoring, and recruitment efforts. First presented in 2019, recipients are celebrated throughout the year and formally acknowledged during the Annual Clinical Assembly.

2026 Recipient
Gerard Baltazar, D.O., FACOS
Dr. Baltazar has distinguished himself as a dedicated and highly effective committee leader whose contributions have advanced key ACOS initiatives. Through his work with the Continuing Education Committee, he has played an instrumental role in strengthening educational programming and supporting the development of an osteopathic-focused track for the Annual Clinical Assembly. His collaborative approach, reliability, and commitment to excellence have made him an invaluable contributor to the College and its members.

As keynote speaker for the Theodore Classen Memorial Lecture and a frequent presenter within specialty, general interest, and Women’s Forum sessions, she consistently delivers high-quality educational content that resonates with attendees.
