Resources for Medical Students
Welcome to the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons Medical Student Section (ACOS-MSS). ACOS-MSS was established to provide students opportunities to participate in the activities and governance of ACOS. The purpose of ACOS-MSS is to represent and educate future osteopathic surgeons through local chapters of ACOS-MSS. If you are new to the Student Section, start with the ACOS-MSS Guide to learn more about ACOS and what ACOS has to offer for DO students pursuing surgery.

Student membership is $30 and lasts until graduation from medical school. It includes access to all MSS events, resources, and communities, along with leadership and research opportunities.

- Enrolled in AOA-accredited college of osteopathic medicine
- Interest in pursuit of surgical training
- Membership valid through graduation
