ACOS Volunteer Opportunities
Help shape the future of osteopathic surgery by getting involved with ACOS. Volunteer opportunities are available for members who want to contribute their time, expertise, and leadership in support of education, advocacy, and professional development.
Whether you are interested in serving on a committee, moderating a session, speaking at a future meeting, or mentoring the next generation of osteopathic surgeons, we welcome your involvement.
Serve on an ACOS Committee
ACOS committees play an important role in advancing the College’s mission and strengthening the future of osteopathic surgery. Committee service is an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to key initiatives, and help guide the work of ACOS.
If you are interested in serving on a committee, please review the committee objectives and submit the online Call for Committee Volunteers application. You may also complete the printable volunteer form and return it to info@facos.org.
Important Dates
- April 23 – Deadline to be considered for the 2026–2027 term
- Applications received after April 23 will be considered for the 2027–2028 term
- Early June – Appointments made by the President-elect
- July – Appointment letters distributed
