Fall 2026 Conference Registration Scholarship
Applications open in fall of 2026
The cost of early bird registration ($150 each) will be awarded to up to 20 members who demonstrate financial need and must pay for all or part of conference attendance out-of-pocket.
Fall 2026 Conference Travel Scholarship
Applications open in fall of 2026
$250 each will be awarded to up to 20 members who demonstrate financial need and must pay for all or part of their travel expenses out-of-pocket.

What is the Annual Clinical Assembly?
The Annual Clinical Assembly is a multi-day national conference dedicated to surgical education, research, and professional development. It brings together surgeons from a wide range of specialties to share advances in surgical techniques, present emerging research, and discuss innovations in osteopathic surgery. The conference is primarily designed for surgical residents and attending physicians.
When and where is the ACA?
The 2026 ACA will be held at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans LA from September 30th to October 4th (Wednesday to Sunday).
How is ACA different from the ACOS-MSS Fall Conference?
The ACOS-MSS Fall Conference falls underneath the 2026 ACA. We have our own programming dedicated specifically for students with special networking events and student socials.
What is the conference attire?
Business professional for both ACA and ACOS-MSS Fall Conference.
Which conference should I register for?
Students should register via the student registration for the 2026 ACOS-MSS Fall Conference held in conjunction with the 2026 ACA.

Can I still attend the ACA as a registrant for the ACOS MSS Fall Conference?
Yes, there are specialty tracks available for purchase ($100 in addition to registration) where you are able to attend the ACA for any of the 5 surgical specialties included under the ACOS (general, neurosurgery, plastic and reconstructive, urological, and cardiothoracic and vascular). Limited spots available, first come first serve.
Does the ACOS-MSS Hotel Block include dates for the ACA?
The ACOS-MSS Convention Subcommittee is currently working on securing hotel blocks near the conference hotel for students.
How do the Research Presentation for ACA and ACOS-MSS Fall Conference Work?
There are research opportunities where you may submit abstracts for both. They are separate research opportunities with separate deadlines and abstract revisions. If you are accepted to present at the ACA you may not be eligible to present at the ACOS-MSS Fall Conference. Deadlines TBD.
How many research sessions are there for the ACOS-MSS Fall Conference?
There will only be one session of research oral presentation. More information to come.
